1. The service

RecruitMatrix is a software-as-a-service platform that helps high school athletes evaluate and track their college recruiting process — a decision matrix for comparing D1 programs, a CRM for tracking coach contacts, fit scoring based on athlete priorities, and rule-based recruiting coaching. RecruitMatrix is operated by RecruitMatrix LLC (“we,” “us”), a Minnesota limited liability company.

2. Who can use RecruitMatrix

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf. RecruitMatrix is intended for prospective student-athletes, their families, and (when invited) their high school and club coaches.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done under your account.

3. Pricing, trial, and billing

• The Free plan is available indefinitely — up to 3 shortlisted schools, basic matrix view, and limited coach contacts.
• Pro is $22 per month or $179 per year. Elite is $45 per month or $349 per year.
• Pro and Elite subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
• If you cancel a paid subscription within the first 30 days after your first charge, we will refund that payment — see the Refund Policy.
• We use Stripe to process payments. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use RecruitMatrix to contact college coaches in ways that violate NCAA recruiting rules. RecruitMatrix is a decision-support tool for athletes, not a contact-facilitation service.
• Upload malware, scrape the platform, or attempt to break security controls.
• Impersonate another athlete or misrepresent your eligibility, class year, or recruiting status.
• Resell or sublicense the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your data

You own the data you put into RecruitMatrix — your athlete profile, school shortlist, scores, touchpoints, coach contacts, and notes. We use it only to operate the service for you. See the Privacy Policy for details. You can export or delete your data at any time.

6. Public data we display

RecruitMatrix shows publicly available information about D1 programs — rosters, rankings, coaching staffs, conference affiliations — aggregated from third-party sources. We make no warranty about the accuracy or completeness of that data and you should verify any details that influence a major decision directly with the program.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We're a small team and issues will occasionally happen. We will work to resolve outages quickly and communicate honestly when they occur.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. RecruitMatrix does not guarantee any specific recruiting outcome, scholarship offer, or admission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecruitMatrix LLC's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost data.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify RecruitMatrix LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the service or content you upload.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination we will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow export, then delete it.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.

14. NCAA compliance

RecruitMatrix is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA. The service is a private decision-support tool. Athletes remain solely responsible for their own NCAA eligibility, compliance with contact periods, and any official recruiting communications.
