How do scholarships actually work in college sports?
Post-House settlement, the old head-count vs equivalency split is fading. Programs now operate under roster caps with each school deciding how many full or partial scholarships to fund. Two schools in the same sport may offer very different structures — always ask each program what they're offering, what's covered, and get it in writing before committing.
How are roster openings estimated?
