Which sports are supported?
RecruitMatrix supports 21 D1 sports — school browsing, fit scoring, the decision matrix, and Coach Contacts work for all of them. Wrestling, Gymnastics, and Men's Ice Hockey also have an active roster + rankings scraper for live Starting Potential analysis. More sport scrapers are being added every month.
What does "Starting Potential" mean?
We analyze real D1 roster data to estimate how many spots open up at each program each year for your weight class or event. It shows whether you'd likely compete as a freshman or sit for a few years.
Is this NCAA-compliant?
Yes. RecruitMatrix is a decision tool for athletes — it helps you evaluate and track programs, but does not facilitate contact between athletes and coaches on your behalf.
Can my high school coach see my matrix?
Yes, on Pro and Elite plans you can invite your HS or club coach to view your matrix and add private notes.
Can I cancel anytime?

I'm a freshman — is this useful yet?

No. The Phase 1 recruiting coach is fully rule-based and deterministic — built on NCAA contact-rule logic and 27 vetted message templates. That means it's instant, free, predictable, and your data never leaves our servers. We may add AI-assisted features later, but the core advice will always work without them.
